Sales Marketing was formed as a result of my
own experience as a business owner in several areas
with three different websites promoting those businesses.
I had invested a lot of money and time in getting them
to look good and updating them with various data about
the services I offered and I was very pleased at how
they looked.
At the time I used off-line marketing campaigns to
get new business and the websites were mentioned almost
in passing. hoping to drive traffic to my sites. Having
spent over three decades in sales and marketing the
old fashioned way of cold-calling and making presentations
to the prospect, I was astonished one morning, soon
after I had started using the websites in my advertising,
to find that several people had come onto the site and
purchased our services online (and spending a lot of
money with us) without my ever having spoken to them
or met them. The idea of selling online took off.
However, I also remember the day very well when I decided
to do a Google search, not for my company names, but
some “Keywords” describing what we offered
and was shocked to find that we didn’t appear
after ten pages of results. I could see all of my competitors
listed page after page and let me tell you that didn’t
feel too good.
After some research I discovered SEO (Search Engine
Optimisation) and Online Marketing and realised that
I could sell a lot more products if my websites were
optimised and appeared on the first page of Google or
the other search engines. I applied this new science
to my websites and a new online business took off. This
was mostly new business which was garnered in addition
to my usual off-line activities.
It is now our passion to deliver this exciting and
rapidly growing SEO and Online Marketing services to
other companies and seeing them benefit from it.
